Full Job Description:
Condo Travel Club and Pulaski Tickets & Tours is a member-based organization with approximately 40,000 members nationwide. Our company provides travel services to our members at discounted rates and serves as a host travel agency for approximately 200 outside sales agents.
We have an opening in our travel division for a Travel Consultant. Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of booking airfare, car rentals, hotels, vacation packages and cruises. Candidates must have worked in the travel industry for at least 5 years, possess strong customer service skills, and must have the ability to work remotely (from your home).
This position would be 40 hours per week & the hours would be Monday through Friday from 9am - 5pm EST with flexibility to work 11am - 7pm when needed. This is NOT a commission based position.
Education and Experience:
- Prior travel sales experience required, preferably online; phone sales a plus
- Experience selling luxury items like escorted tour packages and cruises a plus
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel
- Computer and internet experience and knowledge of travel-related reservation systems such as Client Base a plus
- Personal travel experience will be considered an advantage

- Organization, passion for perfection and high attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with internet, email and online travel tools
- High self-motivation and ability to work independently
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients professionally and promptly with their travel-specific needs such as: Reservations (cruise, air, land, rail, auto, tours, etc.), Research / Recommendations, Travel Protection
- Remain knowledgeable on industry issues, rules, regulations, policy changes, product/partner updates and geo-political situations
- Ability to accurately compute and convey the cost of travel, accommodations, etc. using calculators, computers, etc.
