Purpose of the Job:
The position is part of Ice Cream Raw Material Procurement team which responsible for Commodities purchasing including cocoa, dairy, sugar and confectioneries in NEA and SEAA clusters (>250mln euro). The job is of regional nature and would have stakeholders across the Asia clusters. The person coming to this role is to manage an end-to-end buying in a very volatile external agriculture commodity market; to closely work with over 40~70 suppliers to ensure over 8 countries and approx. 15 factories are serviced with the right volume, price & right quality.
You as a potential candidate is expected to be a market intelligence guru, who has ability to understand value chains deeply and know how to leverage respective value to support manager & make right buying decision. You are a dot connecter & storyteller to manage market, suppliers and cross-BUs & cross-cultural network of stakeholders, to make sure buying strategy and sustainability agenda are aligned with business requirements. Right risk management mindset, Sharp sense and fast actions, good rigor in execution are the key characteristic of the role to bring the right value from the dynamic commodity market in to a very dynamic category/country business needs.
Main Accountabilities:
Support Executive Procurement of Dairy & Chocolate for SEA, North Asia and ANZ (spends:180mln euro)
Collect and provide supply market intelligence and analysis to support designing regional buying strategy, suppliers & materials strategy. (including but not limited on: Perform cost modelling and benchmarking analysis, market and upstream market, trade and regulation intelligence; closely working with CRM)
In close co-operation with market procurement team to ensure availability of material. Carry out regular supplier sourcing and support/lead in key supplier negotiations. Manage end to end contracting process and make sure contract in place on time.
Commodity risk management and Price risk management. Drive forecast process and translate commodity volatilities to business languages and P&L impacts. Develop hedging options.
Support to communicate the regional strategies to the business stakeholders and create the buy-in.
Drive saving & cash projects, deliver future-fit value for business.
Improve resilience of supply portfolio, USQS, traceability, spec, legal, business contingency, etc.
Support to manage supplier relationship. Identify and develop future suppliers base and new origins.
Deliver sustainability and NetZero program, link with industry and leverages, de-bottleneck high risk markets.
Support on strategic projects or platform for the Manager and the Network.

Critical success Factors for the Job
5 years of work experience in Procurement/Supply Chain.
Financial/MBA background or Agriculture/Food industry experience as a plus.
Sharp and quick business mindset

Basic understanding of Finance
Basic understanding of Macro Economy, Trade, Commodities and Futures as a plus
